This is not a trail, it is just lame doubletrack.

If riding from the Aspen Creek Trailhead up Aspen Creek trail Moby turns abruptly and steeply off to the right. It's for sure a fire road/double track for the first 1/3rd but then becomes and amazing hand built, viewshed heavy, single track trail until it's junction with what shows at East Copper 260 on Trailforks. Beyond that it turns into a moto like trail with some loose rocks and berms as it climbs up toward Mt Francis. You'll cross a cattle guard and then ride about another 1/2 mile before a T intersection with 9402C. I like this trail more as a climb then a descent and that's because I use it to loop with Aspen Creek 48. If you wanted an easier descent off of Mt Francis over Aspen Creek then Moby would be your best bet. As a climb you are going to have to suck it up on the first quarter of a mile or so as it's steep. I felt the investment was worth it versus climbing Copper Basin Road especially because of the trail build quality and views.
