Overly sandy in the lower elevations, but still a really fun trail with great views and some ripping descents. Tons of slickrock, with a bit of route-finding here and there.

Recommend riding out and back via the east side and using the connector to make a loop. The west side is annoyingly muddy and sandy.

Most of the trail is dry, with minor ice and snow still in shady spots.

Don't bother. Pretty but very boring.

For starters, do this route in a counterclockwise direction. I'll get to why later.

Easy ascent up a gently inclined slab of slickrock, traveling between 2 very impressive gigantic rock formations. BEAUTIFUL! When you get to the top it's ripping good time down the western leg on more slickrock. Once you get to the end of that slickrock that's where the fun is over.

I had read a lot of complaints about it being overly Sandy on the last half of the western leg. I just thought, it's sand, get over it and push on through. Holy crap! Sand, sand, and more sand. Deep too.

The ideal way to finish off this ride would be to, once nearing the end of the slickrock descent, would be to take west-east shortcut back to the trail you traveled up earlier, take a left and head back to the car.

Oh no, can't believe I screwed that up so bad! Go CLOCKWISE! Very important, CLOCKWISE, not counterclockwise.

Really, Trailforks, you're not going to give us an "Edit" button to correct errors like this?

Rode this trail counterclockwise and there is TONS of sand at the lower sections but all was rideable. Slick rock and downhill was a blast.
