Part of the Elk Valley / TransCanada Trail; Recent addition (late 2015) to the Montane network. Takes you off the old River Road and onto single track for the Montane loop, very cruisy machine built section that takes you right up to the new River Road (heading away from town). Either turn right to continue down to the hut, or left up on to Roots.

Access Info

Find the start of it at the 'confusion corner' junction on the upper section of Montane were Ruby's Way, and Uprooted all meet Montane. Good signage.
