Land OwnerKingdom Trail Association
Moose Alley is one of Kingdom Trails’ Top Ten trails in the Trailforks Global Trail Rankings. The ranking is done by an algorithm that takes into account a number of uniform criteria that defines popularity amongst trail users world-wide.
Moose Alley is one of the iconic, must-ride trails in the Kingdom. It is a challenging, primarily down-hill technical trail, at times steep, with many tight turns, obstacles and superior technical trail features - everything that a nature trail can throw at you The surface is generally firm and well packed but in places you will encounter loose, wet, rocky or rooty sections. Stay on your toes!
It traverses varied terrain but is mostly in a beautiful forested area on the western slope of Burke Mountain. This trail is suitable for intermediate riders and above.
Access Info
At the top end Moose Alley can be accessed from the Magill Fields Trail off Pinkham Road, and at the bottom from Smith Hill Road. Near the bottom you will find the turn the turn-off of the newly opened (September 2019) Flower Brook connector to the trails up in East Haven.
