A steep climb from Fish Creek Road. Easy and gentle downhill across the butte. Dropping off the butte to Camp Ridge (124) junction, the trail is steep and rocky in places. Below 124 junction, the trail is more defined but still primitive in character.

The lower portion below Camp Ridge junction was unremarkable

It's a steep climb out of the warm river area. The trail along Moose Creek is very overgrown (checked it out end of July) to the point of almost not seeing dirt. We had to watch for the trail as a slight divot in the neck high vegetation.
