Sandy singletrack with steep technical sections separated by longer mellow sections. Primarily used by dirtbike riders. Mountain bikers will likely have to push their bikes up the steeper sections in either direction, but have some fun and challenging riding on the downhills.

Access Info

Trail is not signposted at either end. From the north: Turn off I-90 at Homestake Pass and take road 240 pass Homestake lodge and past several gates that need to be opened and closed. The trailhead is not obvious and heads straight off road 240 with no turn-out or parking. It is possible to find a place to pull a car off the road to the north. From the south: Heading towards Toll Mountain Campground, take a right on road 9319. Take another right on Trail No. 86 towards Elkhorn Spring. The trail starts immediately after a water trough beside some old wooden fencing.
