After leaving the Back Straight, there's a run to the run through saltbush to reach Unhappy Valley. UV has two options - a tight bermed right handed switchback or a drop over a large log. Both lead to a pinch climb out then around to a T-Junction (turn left) and a drop back across the gully. Next is a long-ish flat weave through the saltbush and trees to a sharp right at the junction between the short and long loop routes. This falls directly into the Big Gully. From there, the trail runs to the right and then a hairpin left after 100 metres into Black Box Boulevard, another longish weave with a small log jump. Turn right immediately prior to Learning to Fly and run down to a sharp right then across the flat and up onto the Red Country and the end of this section...
