Cool singletrack that feels a bit remote, even though you're never too far from home. Get ready to cross a lot of streams on this trail, some over bottom bracket heights and too deep and long to ride through at certain times of the year. Regardless, it's a beautiful ride. The top mile is a blast, the middle is just ok, and the last 2 miles or so are nearly flat, and stream heavy. BE WARNED, when I road this I popped out on a gated private road that I did not know I entered or was on until after I hit the gate. My tracks might have missed a not-so-obvious turn near the end, or the only way out is indeed on a private gated road for which you can exit, but not enter.

A better route is to take the first left and connect over to the bear creek loop. You can go right or left at the double track. Left is quick and less interesting. Right has a slight climb back up to the main Bear Creek single track descent, which is definitely more fun.

Top half is rolling good. Bottom half has some trees down, but that kinda comes with the territory. Really needs a good brushing.

The trail was not passable in many places. There were large trees down about every 1000 feet requiring climbing over and under dead falls.

Just rode this trail today with my wife. What an epic trail. You bomb down alongside a creek that is gorgeous. Trail is a bit overgrown but we like that. A little tlc and this could be the best trail in the area.

Rode today August 11 and it was in terrible shape almost to the point of not being rideable. Tons of downed trees and heavy storm damage. Wasn’t worth the massive climb and needs lots of maintenanace before I’ll consider riding it again.

Just rode this trail! Complete ass, have the trail
Is creek bottom, none maintains or cuts trees, you will push your bike as much as you ride it! Ride the other trails in the system

Rode the trail this week... complete disappointment. Much better trails elsewhere. Flat and yes you will push your bike as much as your on it. Also need to know that the map is wrong on this web site! Trail ends on private property (no trespassing).

Rode today. Cleared a lot of trees, but still a lot of hike-a-bike around down trees. Needs more clearing before I’d recommend riding to anyone other than someone looking for an adventure. Fun otherwise.
