This newly constructed trail is the latest of the Zappa network in Lost Lake. Muffin Man was primarily built to be a climbing trail after riding the Zappa network from South to North and popping out from Jelly Roll. It brings you back up to the top of Central Scruitinizer but can be ridden in either direction. There are a virtually endless number of link-ups possible and each trail is well sign-posted so your best bet is to simply explore. A refreshing dip in Lost Lake is always a nice way to end a ride.

A little bit of brush trimming would be nice, but it's not terrible.

Agree with skinum05 - could use some trimming of brush first 200m of Muffin Man.

Great addition to the Zappa network! Part of the trail is shared with Comfortably Numb along the disc golf course, so watch for the unmarked junction where Muffin Man drops down to the right if you're heading uphill towards Central Scrutinized.

Great trail. Awesome climb and view at the top. Connects perfectly to existing loop.

This trail is mint. Packing in really well but has some loose dusty corners and off camber compressions that might catch a few riders out especially when running it downhill towards the river. Great work by the Muni trail crew. Thank you.

A great addition to the Zappa/Lost Lake network, bravo WORCA! Some really creative rockwork and trail building has made for a much better ride from the north end. I was never really a fan of having to climb Hooktender.
