    US Forest Service

Brand new trail, completed in September 2017 by the Tahoe Area Mountain Biking Association in partnership with the US Forest Service. The trail connects the Gun Mount Trail and neighborborhood by North Upper Truckee to the top of Angora Ridge. It passes through the 2007 Angora fire area and has expansive views of Lake Valley. Moderate sustained climb, steep switchbacks, fun downhill, not technical.

This trails is mostly exposed to direct sun. It has a tendency to get muddy after snow or rain but dries fast.

Access Info

From Tahoe Mountain Road turn south on Forest Mountain Road and continue through the Forest Service gate up the gravel road to a dirt parking area. Look for the Mule Deer trail in the southeast corner. Follow Mule Deer for about 500 ft. The Mule Deer Connector takes off on the right (west) side.
