Excellent backcountry singletrack trail accessing the depths of the Lemhi Range.
The trail has many very rideable rocky sections. Several wet areas and small stream crossings. There are two challenging stream crossings that are tough at high water.
Expect deadfall: this trail does see annual maintenance so early Summer will have the most downed trees.
The trail continues up canyon beyond the Park Fork junction, another two+ miles to Devil's Basin and the pass at the head of the canyon.
Access is via the Pahsimeroi River Road on the east side of the river to the Big Creek Road #097. There is a small primitive campground at the road end.
Two challenging stream crossings: ~1 mile and ~2 miles from the trailhead.
