Nanny Creek is the fourth segment on the Ulysses ride. It is an uphill single track segment that flows through a pinyon pine / juniper forest up along the bottom of a dry shallow valley. There are 45 days in the summer June 15 - Aug 1 when some cows graze along the trail but the rest of the year the trail is cow free. This trail can be ridden year round based on snow conditions which you can assess from I-80. Do not ride this trail if it is raining because of sticky mud but the trail is fine the day after rain

This is a well used trail. It is a fairly tough climb but takes you to a summit where you can see the I-80 freeway and then there are options for fun DH sections.
