Downed tree just south of Bowie Mill Rd; blocking path and bridge partially destroyed. Loose and unstable planks when crossing over.

Needwood hiker-biker trail - search it in Google maps and it will put you right at the parking lot.

Here is an address that will take you to the loop where the Needwood hiker-biker trailhead is. There is a parking lot and parking along Needwood Lake Circle: 15700 Needwood Lake Cir, Rockville, MD 20855. My wife and I hiked the first part around the lake. I'm going back with my mountain bike to ride the entire loop sometime soon.

My bike was hit by a car today crossing Muncaster Mill road (I was walking it, no injuries, hit and run). Please be careful.
