Access Info

This trail system rides as a single loop currently marked with four different colored flags. When riding in the primary direction of travel, the flags will always appear on the right side of the trail.

To access the trail, take the large, obvious foot path into the woods directly behind the playground. After 0.25 miles, you'll begin to see red flag markers on the right side of the trail. Follow these which will take your to the right at the first fork encountered.

After approximately 200 ft, the trail cuts sharply into the woods and from there is easy to follow. The flow of the trail will take you from red to orange to yellow to blue markers. The end of the blue flags finishes right at the beginning of the red flags where you started.

Great little loop to rip, but should ONLY be ridden in the primary (one direction) as mentioned in access info for safety and flow. This trail info should be updated to say uni direction instead of both directions.

Just moved to Albany from Oregon. I was blown away by this sweet little trail system just five minutes from our new home. It’s fun, flows, and is totally in the woods so it’s cooler and you hardly notice the suburban tract houses it runs up against. It really is a treasure. Pack your bug spray but if you’re here you’ve already figured that out. Keep the markers on your right and enjoy!

It's 10min from my house so I'm biased, but it's a great XC trail with some cool features and good flow. Perfect for an after work rip, or a multiple lap weekend ride. Blue rating is about right. It's harder than a path in the woods, but not super techy.
