North Canyon is a fun but challenging climb and descent. This side of Cave Peak doesn't see nearly as much traffic as Mueller Park so this might be a better option if you're wanting some speed and not wanting to stop for hiking traffic. The ride is pretty well covered with trees and is mainly hardpack with some rough rocky sections. The lower part of North Canyon is a bit of a jeep trail so watch for mud and potholes.

Not even close to a "Black Diamond" trail. Straight up intermediate, XC descent.

That said, I thought it was pretty fun, and one can squeeek some speed out of it. The double track is steep and off camber. Let go of the brakes and it will get your attention.

This is partly a fun downhill single track and partly a terriblr, rough, Jeep road. Not worth it. Take Mueller Park downhill and put up with the occasional hikers.

First 1/3 the trail is a jeep trail, but is part of a pretty good climb. Its a workout. Good shade most the trail and next to a creek at times. Upper half is intermediate single track. Good fun with some switchbacks.. Probably best in the mornings for shade in the warmer months.
