The 3.9 mile, mostly wooded North Fork Silver Creek #119 Trail connects to the Abercrombie Trail #117 and the South Fork Silver Creek Trail #123. This is a great mountain biking trail, and makes a nice day ride for horses, with tremendous views from the top. It is much easier to take the Abercrombie Mountain Trail to the top of this trail and walk or bike down. Seasonal huckleberries. Variable weather. There is a free forest service campground at the trailhead. The trail is dog-friendly. After crossing Silver Creek the first ¼ mile in, you’ll only find a couple of trickles of water, so come prepared. Layered clothing and survival kit suggested.

Trail needs maintenance. Badly overgrown, I made it about a half mile and turned back.
