Originally an equestrian trail, now rarely used and sometimes hard to follow when it crosses cut blocks which were logged around 2010 (use Trailforks to stay on route). The sections that are in the trees (about 50% of the trail) are well defined old school singletrack. Very scenic with views of Mt. Tecumseh, Crowsnest, Seven Sisters, Highrock Range, Chinook Lake, and the canyon of Allison Creek near the waterfall.

Access Info

The upper end of the trail can be reached via the Deadman Pass Access and High Rock Access. The south end can be reached from the parking lot at the Allison Fish Hatchery by going north 1.1 km on the old road to the Chinook Lake dam (Rainbow Run on the ski trail maps). The North of Chinook trail branches off to the north from the trail to Allison falls at the base of the ridge between Allison Creek and Chinook Lake. Initially it is very steep.

This trail is unsanctioned.

Memorable, but only because it's not great riding. Rough and boring through clearcuts. Although there are lots of wild strawberries to eat in the summertime.
