The western half of this loop is probably the most physically challenging section of trail in the entire Blue Marsh system. It contains the biggest climb - nearly 1000ft of vertical - one side is a switchback dirt trail with lots of roots to navigate and the other side is a fast and relatively straight dirt/shale trail. Adventurous riders will want to ride up and back the west side of the loop (ride up to N Heidelberg Rd and just turn right around and come back down) while beginners may want to stick to the eastern side - an almost completely flat gravel/packed dirt singletrack trail.

Access Info

Trail head is across the street from the end of the Peacock Rd trail. If you are exiting that trail turn left and watch for the trailhead on the other side of the street. You can park at the Old Church Lot for standalone access.
