This trail is no longer an entrance, despite its name, because houses have been built across what was the first part of the trail where it once connected to Mica Crescent. However, the trail remains accessible once you are inside the trail system. It is currently unsanctioned, not maintained by MRWA, and lies on part of HRM's Shaw Wilderness Park. Quite technical and chunky right from the beginning. Almost entirely granite. It can be accessed via Divide trail and the Attic.

The entrance/exit name derives from a time (2012-2016) when some roads in the Governor's Brook subdivision had been built, but there were no houses, and the trail was a common entrance to the original Fight trail.

Please be polite and respect local homeowners and private land in the Mica Crescent area. Do not cross private yards
