This section of the Old Indian Trail connects from the North Fork Hat Creek Road 033 to the saddle on the ridge north of the road. The trail continues north into the South Fork of Iron Creek but is unmaintained with numerous downfall. The tread is in good shape though. This trail is non-motorized. The Peel Tree Road show as connecting to the trail on the map is actually the North Fork of Hat Creek road, which is not wet weather friendly. The road is not accurately plotted on the map. It intersects the trail on the trails south end.
