Old Nine Line Details
If you're looking for the gnarliest trail on Vail, the top section of this is it.
There's a pretty steep section littered with rocks and small drops.
The trail pretty much heads straight down a cool trail with old wood junk on the sides, I'm guessing from old mine operations?
There are a few line options, but unless you've got a big bike, you might want to scope some first.
I rolled up on a rock roll/drop that was about 5-6' to flat on one side, then had a sniper landing on the other, glad I checked first.
After this awesome section, the trail mellows out a lot.
It becomes more of a root infested tree trail.
It's still a little rough, but nothing wildly exciting.
