First artificial trail at the site. Co-designed by Shane Wilson.

Engadin St. Moritz has an offer in store for mountain bikers that lets them follow (or indeed ride) in the tracks of great sporting history over the summer months, too, i.e. the Corviglia/Olympia Flow Trail. This trail, most of which follows the Olympic slope of 1948, is comparable to a flowing downhill pump-track; in winter 1948, it provided the setting for the Olympics. It runs from the Corviglia (mountain station) via Sass Runzöl and Alp Nova to Chantarella (middle station). It covers stony terrain – complete with 480 metres of difference in altitude – as well as ruggedly romantic alpine meadows and fragrant forests of Swiss pine. And yet the Olympia/Corviglia Flow Trail is by no means the exclusive preserve of downhill fanatics: it can also be enjoyed by the whole family of mountain bikers. Passionate Flow Trail riders also have the option of using the Corviglia cableway to transport their mountain bikes from St. Moritz Dorf to Corviglia. Pure fun and flow are guaranteed

Requirements: The flow trails on the Corviglia are not suitable for complete beginners. Riders should have some experience of biking on uneven terrain. Generally speaking, your typical flow trail user will be in good physical condition, have complete control of his or her bike (i.e. be able to brake, switch gears and steer with purpose at all times), and show consideration for others. Bikers are also well aware that helmets need to be worn on all trails at all times.

this trail is essentially an amazing downhill pump track that feels like it never ends! I will ride it again someday.

Molto bello e curato adatto a tutti.
