"On the Rocks" is DOWNHILL ONLY trail that begins after a long climb up "Sober Up". It begins with a moderately technical, hand laid rock garden that leads into the largest rock feature on the trail. This large rock feature starts with a small drop onto a steep(ish) chute onto a long slab of slick rock, which drops onto another big boulder that culminates with a steep rolling rock face. After that you drop into some more moderately difficult, hand laid rock work that leads to another significant rock drop. The ride then gets steep as you make your way down a long chute with a gnarly rock drop that lands on another steep chute. You then find yourself on some more technical, hand laid rock work that ends with a 3 foot rock drop. The rowdiness continues as you make your way through some chunky single-track with another 3 foot rock drop. Then it is time to do a little climbing. The climbing is a bit tough as the loam is thick and soft. Near the end of the climb you will find some more difficult, hand laid rock work. If you can clean that climb without dabbing a foot, you are a stud. After the difficult climb, another fast rocky downhill section ensues. This section includes a big 5 foot rock drop to flat...you'll wanna hit it fast. Just after the drop, the trail takes a sharp right and the trail mellows out a bit, but there are some more interesting rock moves to end the trail. It is a good idea to walk and scout these rocks before you ride them. Definitely ride them with a friend before tackling them alone. "On the Rocks" is the premiere trail at Speakeasy...so far Smile Enjoy

Thanks for checking it out. We know the network of trails is currently small. We are now in the phase of perfecting the existing trails. Next winter we will be working to add another three or four miles of tread.

Place is sick! You're gonna need a bigger parking lot, haha. Great to find a local place that pushes my comfort zone, thanks.
