This part of the Oregon Coast Trail connects Floras Lake and Blacklock Point and is tucked in the coastal forest so you won't have to worry about windy conditions interfering with your ride. The trail is mostly singletrack with some wider sections and one creek crossing. There is a stair section on the north end of the creek crossing where you will have to hike your bike up or down. At its northern point the trail opens up to ocean views and packed sand dune before it descends to the soft sand of Floras Lake. You can choose to ride along the lakes edge or head towards the ocean via the dunes (official OCT).

Access Info

This trail is accessed from the south end of Floras Lake near the dunes or from Blacklock Point Trail at the end of Airport Road. The trail is marked at both ends.
