The Osoyoos Canal Walkway is a multi-use paved path that follows an old canal. The trail parallels many orchards and provides great views of the valley. Some sections are shaded but it could be hot on sunny afternoons. There is a tunnel under the highway where they cross.

This popular 12 kilometer round trip trail is accessed on 62nd Avenue just north of Osoyoos Secondary School. Parking is available around the corner adjacent to the trail sign. The walkway can also be accessed from the Visitor Centre parking lot. This trail follows an abandoned section of the irrigation canal, once the lifeline of Osoyoos that opened up the area for the fruit industry.

Access Info

Can be accessed from Hwy 3, 100th Ave, 116th Ave, 74th Ave, and 115th St by Osoyoos Secondary.
