The Overlander is a Jasper classic. From Maligne Canyon 6th bridge things start out wide open and pretty mellow through open forest, this progresses into a tighter track along the river and then into open grasslands. Minimally technical for the most part with several rocky sections that require more skill to navigate. This section of the Overlander ends at the historic Moberly Homestead and is a great trail in both directions. Do this as an out and back (commonly called "the Moberlander") or continue onto the more technically challenging section of the Overlander out to 12 mile bridge.

From Parking at Maligne 6th bridge cross the bridge and follow the gravel for a short time until you see the well marked trail start on your left.
