Pat's Track is an iconic Signal Hill trail that has been hiked, run and ridden for years. The surface is rocky and loose in summer and the protruding rocks demand concentration and bike handling skills. The full trail is best accessed from a hairpin bend on Kloof Road which will require a portage to access the ridable part of the track. From here the trail traverses the lower slopes of Lions Head before hitting the slopes of Signal Hill and eventually descending to the suburb of Sea Point. This descent can be fast and has some tricky rock sections and corners to negotiate. Alternatively, you can access the trail around the mid point via the Pat's Access trail off Signal Hill Drive.

See above. You can access the trail off Kloof Road or Signal Hill Drive or even off Glengariff Road, Sea Point, although this option will result in a not so fun climb up the very fun descent.
