A few very loose and sandy sections. All downed trees have been cut and do not block trail.

Snow is clear but still several trees across trail - easy to lift bike over. Waterfalls are exceptional

Maybe a dozen trees across in scattered locations. Most fairly easy to lift a bike over.

The way back down is via Road 500. This is a popular route for hikers and horses, hence the one way uphill only designation. (Which I think is fair). We rode up this, around Crater Rim and back down Road 500 for a 37-mile loop with about 5000 feet of elevation gain. Road 500 is a WFO full tuck down back down to the start.

If you ride up this, what do you take to get back down?
