A nice new climbing connection from Shelly Bay Rd up to Prison Rd in Maupuia. Hand built by contractors to minimise canopy loss and visibility from below. Miramar Track Project and Te Motu Kairangi-Miramar Ecological Restoration have planted hundreds of natives along the trail which which one day canopy the trail and make it completely invisible from below.

Much more enjoyable way up to Centennial Reserve than grinding up Maupuia Road!
And it seems there are fairies living in the trees on the lower section
