Piper's trail runs off of the southern portion of Porcupine Ridge, over to the doubletrack Preserve Connector. Heading that direction yields mostly xc type riding with a few large-ish features that require a little finesse. Coming the other direction would treat you to some fairly steep short climbs, some of which have techy rock features.
