This nearly flat high-elevation plateau is quite unique. The top is leased to Husky Oil as there are a couple wells at the top. Easy pedal up the gated road with amazing views that seem to go forever. The alpine tundra has elevations excess of 2400m and can be very windy so come prepared for sudden weather changes. This mountain is what is know as a nunatak or non-glaciated peak and remained ice free during the last glaciation. This has allowed the development of honeycomb rock formations from thousands of years of freeze and thaw cycles. Very unique and very cool.
