Pleasant Hill Trail Details
The Pleasant Hill Trail flows through Sandy Pine Forests, as well as hardwood bottom lands. Pleasant Hill was one of the first machine built trails made with cycling in mind back in the '90s. The sandy soil and limited usage mean that Tuskeegee trails handle rain well. Trail maintenance is hit or miss, so bring a hand saw, and be ready for a few face slappers or big log-overs. Tuskeegee makes a great adventure for cyclists looking for more of a backcountry feel. Most folks park at the Ranger Station between Bartram and Pleasant Hill trails and ride both in both directions. Wear bright colors in hunting season!
