The Poplar Ridge trail is an intermediate-level trail built by the dedicated hands of CAMBC volunteers. It offers new terrain for all users on Lewis Mountain, connecting into O-Hill.

Constructed during the summer of 2024, the trail was meticulously carved into the hillside, requiring extensive rock work in the bench-cut sections. The vision was to create a trail incorporating the extensive natural rock on the hillside with a moderate grade for a loop that works in both directions for bikers, runners, and hikers. Up the hill, you'll see the historic Onteora property, and below is the High ropes course.

Access is primarily from the gravel road at the saddle of the two hills. To get on the high line you'll head towards Lewis Mountain staying right onto an older roadbed before the trail turns off to the right. The low line starts between two large trees about 10 feet past the trail that heads down to the ropes course. A spur trail on the east/lower end also connects to the high ropes course and can be looped with the Tibet Trail.
