An old school Big Sky classic. Hour long descent from Buffalo Horn/Ramshorn that is usually done with a shuttle from Ramshorn Creek/320 Ranch. Pretty rocky and rooty overall, interspersed with several short climbs, so the “flow” is questionable. Intermediate riders may get beat up a little. Riding this as an out-and-back is certainly an option, go all the way, or not. Not likely to be passable before July, see note below for official closure dates. Conditions can be widely variable and dependent on moto use/overuse, see reports regarding trees and mud holes. North end of the trail is on state land, the rest is on USFS - Custer Gallatin National Forest.
Disclaimer
Closed to stock and bikes through June 15th. Open to motorcycles and e-bikes is July 16th - Sept 4.
