Beautiful gentle trails in the forest, there are no signs at various forks in the road so follow the road most traveled - we took a couple of wrong turns but it seems like the correct option each time would be the one with the small wooden post mentioning something about underground cables...

Warning: stinging nettle is about - keep your eyes peeled and your socks up.

great track in both directions .. easy .. yes watch out for nettles and thistle thorns .. can be a bit slippery and there are a couple of hidden mud holes that can surprise you at speed .

Please note this is private land...
Major work is being carried out at present - I'm a Horokiwi resident and have seen multiple trips per day of trucks and heavy machinery... think about only riding this on Sundays for a while so we don't get caught and spoil it for everyone...
      Cheers
