One of Encinitass newest reserves, this oasis in the middle of town offers a brisk hike with a chance of wildlife sightings. The reserve is embraced by houses on three sides, with the lagoon below. For a relatively small open space, the reserve offers the chance to get your legs burning up a steep hill, wildlife that includes endangered species, and a pretty impressive view. Not bad for the middle of town

Access Info

Exit I-5 at the Manchester exit. Drive east until Manchester turns north and becomes El Camino Real. Turn east on Calle Ryan on the east side of the road. Meet at the Calle Ryan cul-de-sac.
