This trail has the feel of a classic old school mountain bike trail.
It has it all. A challenging climb, great switch backs and an amazing descent.
There are some well built wood features and some awesome rock slabs.
The trail does a figure 8 and the route is intuitive.

In the process of being sanctioned.

Dry considering the rain. Few mud puddles around. Ground and berms are good and tacky

The trail is in fantastic condition. The issue is a big bear with 3 cubs. At the very exit of the trail someone has made a slop trough to feed...

Some mud sections on the flat middle portion but easily avoidable.

Fantastic trail! Make sure when doing the climb that when you get to a sign that reads "Blue" take a left. Great switch back uphill ride.

might only be 7+ km but in my opinion it feels about like a 12km ride. The technical climbs keep you pedaling and jockeying on the bike which takes a bit more physical AND mental energy. Wish I had the balls or ability to take some of the meaner sections however the ride-arounds are still enjoyable. I also wish it was longer and hope some folks starts up a couple more trails around the area because it is such great terrain. Last part of the trail was a thrill ride with multiple line choices, some of which had me climbing back up and scoping out.
