Radio Tower is a combination dirt maintenance road/ primitive road that leaves the South Pequop Summit Rest area and travels west and then south 5.5 miles to the GI ridge (Goshute /Independence ) and the start of Tweested Seester single track on the Ulysses Route. Proceed 2 miles west down the maintenance road that parallels I-80 to the south. It makes a hairpin left turn to the south turns into a primitive single lane road that then heads uphill for another 2.5 miles where a left turn onto a very primitive road goes up to a ridge that overlooks Independence Valley. If you miss the faint dirt road to the left at another hairpin turn the road deadends at the Radio Tower. The extremely primitive road that leaves the Radio Tower road and goes up to the ridge is about a 1/4mile and is very steep in places where it is a hike a bike except for the best riders. Once you reach the ridge the primitive roads turns into a rocky single track that heads south along the ridge until it starts down tweested sister.
