Prefered Direction is East to West but West to East isnt all that bad either pretty fun going up or down.

The West side is a bit tougher climb with a tight armored switchback that is a fun challange and several other rocks and switchbacks to get up to the top. At the top heading East the trail starts a fun decent with many grade reversals and a few rocks, at the first switchback heading down you have the option to go onto Feather Rim of head down to the river and cross over to the Rocky River Trail. The Western switchbacks are fun to decenendbut they are also a good climb as well.

Riding this trail from west to east sucks, definitely best when ridden from east to west. It's fast, fun, narrow, and has plenty of technical rock sections. Nothing too big but it really helps to keep you speed up and make quick line choices. Make sure you're in the correct gear to punch up and over small rocky sections.
