Red Brook Trail leads from the Clarks Pond Trail along the bank above Red Brook, offering a pleasant one-way walk of about 1/3 mile. Shortly after the Clark's Pond Trail leaves the paved pathway, the current Red Trail connects on the right. This trail currently leads about a quarter of a mile along Red Brook with the intention of one day connecting it directly to the Maine Mall area. The Red Brook Trail Extension at one point leads out to John Roberts Road where it is possible to walk on sidewalks back to the trailhead and parking area.
