Red Tape, received its name from all all the complex issues KMBC had to go through to be able to build the bridges and be able to open the trail.

Starts off in some nice jungle forest before long crossing a couple flood washed creeks (Bridged). It then sidles a hill (steep drop off in places) with a bit of a roller-coaster feel and tables built into the mix. Finishes off in open grasslands.

The 2nd bridge is now complete. There is a bit of loose rock on the first left bend after the bridge but other wise the track is dry and fast.

Anyone know why track status is RED:closed or major issue?
Red banner at top of page states:This trail is permanently closed/decommissioned,***This track is not complete yet*** Stay off this trail until it is complete, or it will be shut down permanently.
Please clarify if open or not and if so why,

I'm pretty sure it is algood now. There were a lot of issues regarding consent and neighbouring landowners that were upset. The bridges have now been consented and built so all fully ride-able now. Hopefully they have a cool official opening sometime!

Rides very nicely and pretty dry given the time of year. Big ups to those that conceived and built this.

Awesome downhill. Like Freewheel on roids.
Will be closed on March 10, 2019 until the track maintenance is finished.
