One of the 4 different lengths of trail here. Nothing spectacular but they are working on it and making it better all the time. The first few miles are pretty standard through-the-woods stuff then the mid-late part goes down by the water. Not a bad trail at all and well worth doing if you are in Albany and don't feel like driving the minimum of 2 hours it would take to get anywhere else. As one might expect the park hours posted on the website are wrong and will never be updated so you might want to call before coming just to be safe if you are planning something early or late.

Some areas where recent renewal of fire breaks have created soft spots and a little brush intrusion into the trails but nothing you can’t ride...

It's fine, except many sections are plowed for fire line, so very soft.

No downed trees, it's clear, just occasional plowed fire lines in trail.
