Steep loose washed out ATV track climb to start (2km ), mixture of Quad track and FSR road out.

Access Info

At 7km on the n Sunny-Brae - Canoe Point Rd, park and ride from the base of Bastion Mt FSR or drive to the parking area an map at approx. 6.1 km, carefully following sign posts at intersections. Alternatively start further along the Sunny-Brae rd approx. 10 km Heralds Park, Margaret Falls Parking Lot. Retrace 100m west on the road to the Yellow Gate and start up the gravel road.

      The trail is closed but the park ranger said it was only due to the high creek flow so we could go ride. The lower loop trail is in good shape but...

      reporter high water has made the bridge crossings unstable, the CSRD and B.C. Parks has decided to close this trail till the damage can be assessed.
