This trail started out life as a Grade 3 flow trail, but has evolved into a Grade 4 technical trail, particularly in the middle section. The middle section has a lot of exposed rock, narrow trail width and some edge exposure with drop offs to the left hand side.

The top and bottom of the trail are more like its original design of rhythm and flow.


At around the 2k mark Rhythm and Vines meets Pūpū Rahi and there is the option of pulling off here at the Culvert Hub. Alternatively riders can continue down to meet the Shuttle Pickup bay and the trail exit.
