The first track built at Makara Peak A narrow technical track that first traverses and climbs a rocky ridgeline, then drops down steeply via a series of tight switchback, rutted and rocky corners. A Makara Peak classic.

Built by Mountain Bike volunteers in 1998. Two long deviations were built in 2001 to lessen the gradient.

Continue into Starfish to continue down towards the main carpark, or back up Snakecharmer for another lap.
