Part great, part horrible, part cruisy, part nerve-wracking, almost flowy, and yet often interrupted by tight switchbacks. This trail is certainly none of those things, but part all of them.
Lots of side hilling will keep your focus, as you try not to plunge off the steep mountainside. Substantially long segments of the trail are continuously thin and sandy, and a few sections feature clifftop trail that would certainly be fatal if you ate it.
Other parts get quite fast, but the trail is never too steep as to be a brake-locker. So it does have that going for it.
