This trail is the original downhill end of the Rippin mountain bike trail. Most users now prefer to take a north route at the 3-way intersection instead of taking the original route, so the "de facto" Rippin no longer uses this original section. However, it is still maintained and is still a good option for getting further south into the park.

Access Info

South end is at the intersection of Arab Hill Road and the main Highland Forest Park Road. It follows Highland Forest road to a 3-way intersection with the main Rippin, and the new "downhill" trailhead.
