The road is in great condition thanks to the fire lookout at the top and can be easily driven up
with a non-4WD car. It is recommended to use this as a shuttle for Suntop.

Lots of folks ride a loop - up this road and then take the trail down - finally finish with Skookum Flats back to the car. This road is a bear, but after 4 miles it sort of eases up some.

There is a fire lookout at the top. If the gate is open you can drive all the way up. Otherwise you can
still take the road/trail up. There are some great views up here.
