Most direct route down Mt Vic to Charles Plimmer Park/Majoribanks St. Crosses a major walkway about halfway down (just after the rock - which you can bypass). Steep in places and a couple of drops but all manageable on an XC bike.
Access Info
Starts just to the right of where Hippy's (top section of Super-D line) exits onto the walking track. Normally signposted although the label has gone from the post at the moment. Entrance is a little overgrown so will add a picture too.

Most photos above are from the Rock Drop track in Rotorua, 500kms North of Mt Vic. System seems to auto add pictures with the same trail name despite the huge distances between them

Probably more of a Grade 4 - I actually found this easier than Grom

Very fun track, starts with a steep chute which can be tricky to maintain control on, especially in the wet.
There is one drop which is probably grade 5, but the rest is grade 4 ability
