Rocky Mountain Way is a great little connector from the Buffalo Soldier Trail down to the Grand Targhee Cat Skiing lunch tent. The trail allows riders to finish the climb from Mill Creek Canyon with single track and a much easier grade then the gravel road. You can alternatively take this descent as the beginning of your Millcreek Trail ride from Lightning Ridge also known as Buffalo Soldier Trail.

Access Info
Drive east from Driggs, Idaho up Ski Hill Rd. Once you arrive at Grand Targhee Resort most of the trail begin from the main plaza. There is a large trails map to indicate direction, difficulty and miles.
